Tadpole App Information
We use the Tadpole App to provide real-time updates, daily reports, and photos. It keeps you connected to your child’s day—from feedings to playtime milestones.

What if my child is sick?
If your child is showing signs of illness—such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms listed in our health policy—they must stay home for at least 24 hours symptom-free (without medication) before returning. If a child becomes ill while at ChildScape, we will contact you to pick them up promptly. We encourage families to have backup care plans in place just in case. Your child’s health and the safety of our classrooms are our top priorities.
How do I notify staff of a vacation?
Please notify us at least two weeks in advance of any planned vacation. Each child is eligible for one week of vacation per year (after 90 days of enrollment) at no charge. Additional vacation weeks will be billed at the regular tuition rate to reserve your child’s space.
What meals are served?
We provide breakfast around 8:00 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m., and an afternoon snack around 3:00 p.m. Meals are designed to be nutritious and meet one-third of a child’s recommended daily allowance, including items from all major food groups. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions so we can accommodate your child’s needs.
What’s the policy on inclement weather?
We make every effort to remain open during inclement weather. However, if conditions require closure, please refer to your Tadpoles app or call your center. Regular tuition still applies during weather-related closures, as staff are paid for these days.
