Rooted in Care, Growing with Purpose

A Nurturing Place to Grow
Our Mission
We are dedicated to partnering with our communities to support the whole child and the whole family. At ChildScape, we encourage hands-on discovery, celebrate individuality, and provide a developmentally appropriate, non-biased curriculum that meets each child where they are.
Our promise is to provide nurturing care, professional guidance, and peace of mind—so parents feel supported and children feel empowered to grow.

Our Story

2007
ChildScape Learn & Grow was founded in 2007 by Rhonda Moffatt, a passionate early childhood educator with a vision to create a safe, joyful space for children to thrive.

2012
In 2012, Rhonda expanded the program to Tallmadge, OH, continuing her mission to build strong partnerships with families and educators.

2023
In 2023, Cecilia Smith joined the leadership team by purchasing and directing the North Canton location. Rhonda and Cecilia now collaborate under the same trusted brand—continuing to deliver consistent, high-quality care to both communities.

Our Educational Philosophy
We believe play is the foundation of all learning.
At ChildScape, children engage in purposeful play that stimulates imagination, builds self-regulation, and promotes cognitive development. With teacher-child collaboration and developmentally appropriate activities, children explore their world, ask questions, and build problem-solving skills.
